Zakat

Purify Your Wealth, Transform Lives

Your Zakat is not just charity. It is worship. It is hope. It is life-saving support for those in need.

The Spiritual Power of Zakat

Zakat is more than an obligation; it is a divine gift that purifies our wealth and hearts. It frees us from greed and attachment to material possessions,
while uplifting the most vulnerable among us. Through your Zakat, you are answering Allah’s call to compassion, justice, and mercy.

How Your Zakat Changes Lives

Your Zakat provides essential support to families struggling to survive in poverty and crisis. Every pound you give helps us deliver aid where it is needed most.

  • Food Parcels: Nutritious packs filled with rice, oil, lentils, chickpeas, and more — enough to feed an entire family for a month. Distributed in Lebanon, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Uganda, and Gaza.
  • Emergency Relief:Urgent aid delivered to conflict and disaster zones, ensuring no one is left behind.
  • Sustainable Support: Empowering communities with resources to rebuild and thrive.

In 2023, thanks to generous Zakat donors, we sent tonnes of food parcels to Gaza, bringing relief to countless families facing hunger and hardship.

Giving Dignity with Cash Assistance

Whenever possible, we distribute Zakat as direct cash assistance. This restores dignity and gives families the freedom to decide what they need most:

  • A father buying medicine for his sick child
  • A mother purchasing clothes to keep her children warm
  • Parents covering school materials so their children can learn and grow

Once your Zakat reaches them, it becomes their lifeline — spent on whatever urgent need their heart aches to fulfil.

Be the Answer to Their Prayers

Your Zakat is more than numbers; it is mercy in action.

– $50 could feed a family for a month

– $100 could provide urgent medical care and essentials

– $200 could support multiple families with dignity and hope

By giving your Zakat, you are not only fulfilling your duty — you are changing lives and uplifting souls.

Other Islamic Giving

Fidyah
La Fidyah — La compassion pour ceux qui ne peuvent jeûner
If a person is elderly, weak, or suffering from long-term illness and cannot fast during Ramadan, they are required to pay Fidyah (if they have the means). Fidyah ensures that those in need are fed in your place.
  • One missed fast: £5 – feeds a needy person two meals
  • A month of missed fasts: £150 nourrit une personne pendant tout le mois.
By paying Fidyah, you fulfil your duty to Allah while nourishing someone who may otherwise go hungry.
Kaffarah
